The official newsletter of the South Carolina Association of School Librarians is the Media Center Messenger.

The duties of the Editorial Committee shall be to compile, organize, and edit material, both written and graphic, to be included in a minimum of four newsletters to conform to the Association's agenda for the year.

As of September 2008, the first issue for the school year and the pre-conference issue in January/February will be hard copies mailed to members. The November and December 2008 and the March and April 2009 issues will be online at this Website.

Deadlines for submission of articles for the Media Center Messenger are August 15, 2008 (hardcopy), October 20, 2008 (November online), November 17 (December online), January 10, 2009 (hard copy), March 23, 2009 (April online), and April 21, 2009 (May online.)
